Orthopedics and Traumatology
About the Clinic
We provide high-quality medical care focused on day surgery procedures. The scope of our medical services covers important areas of human life such as health, movement, and sports.
We specialize in modern minimally invasive procedures and arthroscopic surgeries that are both highly effective and gentle enough to be performed on an outpatient basis without hospitalization. Day surgery significantly reduces the patient’s stay in the medical facility, minimizes pre-operative stress, and eliminates the risk of hospital-acquired infections. Patients return home after a short recovery period or within 24 hours.
Most Common Procedures
Meniscus Surgery
A damaged meniscus can cause pain, swelling, and mechanical symptoms such as limited mobility or locking of the knee joint. Especially in young athletes, meniscus injuries often need to be treated with meniscal repair (suturing). In other cases, partial or complete removal of the meniscus may be more appropriate.
Knee, Ankle, or Shoulder Arthroscopy
The most common arthroscopic procedures include the removal of loose bodies from the joint, treatment of impingement syndrome, management of osteochondritis dissecans of the talus, cartilage treatment, and removal of reactively changed synovial tissue from the joint capsule.
ACL Reconstruction
One of the most common causes of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury is a direct impact to the knee during sports activities, especially football, skiing accidents, basketball, and volleyball. Several surgical methods are available, with the gold standard being reconstruction using the patellar tendon.
Dislocated Kneecap
Patellofemoral pain in the front part of the knee joint occurs due to damage to the cartilage of the kneecap or the groove in the femur. This condition is known as patellofemoral osteoarthritis. In some cases, the pain is caused by an abnormally developed patellofemoral joint.
Removal of Osteosynthetic Material
Removal of osteosynthetic material involves extracting metal surgical implants from healed bone fractures or after other surgical procedures. Depending on the type of implanted material, the procedure is performed under general or local anesthesia.
